Renewable energy from solar, wind, tidal, hydroelectric, biomass and geothermal has been used to generate electricity. Having achieved its objective we take it a step further; to use the electricity for transportation. The Industrial Revolution of the 1800s led to the invention of the steam engine; the next revolution in the 1900s - the internal combustion engine driven car. We are at the dawn of another revolution - the electric transportation revolution. Advances in electric transportation is made possible by enormous research and development funding and today we are able to incorporate the latest technology to electrify the transportation network.
